How Did Learn About The Creating A World Community Site?
I am the founder and creator
About Me:
Oscar is a former hospital, nursing home and public health administrator, who for 30 years has served as a senior executive in several of the largest health care systems in the United States, now commits himself as a social and business entrepreneur. As a founding partner of this initiative, his intention is to expand and empower ourselves as human beings in creating a world that works for each and every person. He believes that result is a matter of belief and choice, right now. This website provides an access and means for a sustained conversation toward that end. It also offers information and opportunities for building personal wealth. Your participation is invited. Join the conversation in the forums discussions, blogs and add pictures, videos and start groups. Oscar Carter (212) 316-2271
John Galt is a character in Ayn Rand's novel "Atlas Shrugged" (1957) who was introduced to me by Marshall Sylver by aksing the question who is he.
Wikipedia describes the character as a philosopher and inventor who believes in the power and glory of the human mind, and the right of the individual to use his/her mind solely for him/herself.
It goes on to state that "He serves as a highly individualist counterpoint to the collectivist social and economic structure depicted in the novel, in which society is based on oppressive bureaucratic functionaries and a culture that embraces mediocrity in the name of egalitarianism, which the novel interprets as the end result of socialistic idealism."
It is great to meet him as his view is characteristic of the empowered individuals who participate in a world that work for all.
As you remember and give honor to those who sacrificed their lives for causes they believed in, resolve to understand, be tolerant and communicate in a manner that leaves no cause to raise a hand or arm against another. www.oscarcarter.com
