The following summary is how I did it about 12 years ago.  

I was annoyed, pissed off and mad that I was asked to leave my job as Regional Director of the New York State Metropolitan Area Regional Office (a position I created) and Associate Commissioner of New York City Health Affairs.

I had been in the job about 3 years and felt that I was doing an excellent job.  But politics did me in.  I hate politics.  Too wishy washy and insincere too often, though I guess the people in it start out with the best intentions.

I was asked to start-up the operation of a brand new nursing home by the New York State Health Commissioner.  She was not the Commissioner who originally hired me for the Associate Commissioner job.  I guess she wanted her own appointed in the position.

To do the new job I had to go back to take a new training in nursing home administration to get a license and do an administrative residency.  I thought I was through with schools having only three prior having worked on my doctoral degree for more than 4 years.

I also had to commute about an hour and a half to the home where I was doing my residency.  I cursed that job every day I know for a good 3-4 months.  I hated every aspect of it.

Then one day siting at my computer I had an insight., more like an epiphany.

I typed the I would create,

THE BEST NURSING HOME IN NEW YORK STATE.

 

In that moment and until I left the job of nursing home administrator after six years, I was excited, motivated, enthusiastic and had the clearest clarity I have ever had in anything to accomplish my goal.  And I did.

That was evidenced by statements made by our residents, our staff, and state and federal surveyors.

I very clear and I have the evident to show for it that we can create anything we want by declaration, commitment and action toward whatever end we state.

I am in the process of doing it here again in Empower Network.

Here is the vision I created two nights ago.

I am here in the San Diego convention on September 21^st with my wife, my almost 3-year old daughter and with 3,000 powerful Empower Network entrepreneurs on Friday night.  I am looking at the vision I created on my computer, smiling widely as David Sharpe’s voice blasts over the sound system; and I am completely satisfied, with the ease, clarity of my vision and the specific actions I took that transformed my marketing over the past two weeks that caused me to sponsor 2 reps in Empower Network daily and one consultant in Ambit Energy each week by the power of my words and by deciding to listen exactly to what I was told to do. It is amazing how easy it was to create this shift, just by following these daily assignments. I am also completely inspired, excited and fully passionate about the action steps I am taking to make $40,000 a month by January 1, 2013 and promoting to Executive Consultant in Ambit Energy by April 1^st 2012
