Which ideology do you feel would work better today?

Marketing is no longer business, it is pure psychology. It isn’t who you can “recruit”, but What Social Media web site(s) are you using to make friends? What age people and interest(s) are important to you? Who/how many people are you friends with?
If you have an online business, yes you are in business, but the Internet does not work like face-to-face business works. You need to make friends with people, show them you are a leader, and can help them make a great living, doing…

No one country has everything they need to survive. All country’s buy goods and services from other countries. I can guarantee you; there are no rubber plantations in the U.S. But go to Vietnam, and there they are.
The business world is changing, going to an office 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, may not be an option for a significant percentage of the world population soon. Unemployment and downsizing are already high. What are you going to do? You are going to be doing the same…

What is to fear by the term Network Marketing? Is it a Pyramid Scheme as some say? It could be a Pyramid Scheme, if there is no product or service. It is up to you, the individual to watch out for this, if you don’t know how to watch out for a pyramid scheme, get help from a more experienced person. The Internet is easy to use as a mask for what you are really doing; luckily, there is only a minority of people praying on others.
Network Marketing is nothing more than sharing…

My baby daughter (that is not her in the picture) is 11 months old today and I suddenly became present to something I had not realized or given much attention prior to about 6 months ago; and that was after having raised two other daughters who are now adults.
I became present to the fact that there are no “bad” babies. You know, those…

The
Information Age is an exact and accurate description of this time in history.
I just got back from a book fair in Harlem, New York. There must have been over 100 authors displaying, promoting and selling their publications. Many of them handed me their business cards and fliers summarizing their stories and documentaries. When I got home, I opened my computer as usual and took note of the vast amount of information on the Internet.…

I believe building personal wealth is one of the most essential elements in creating a world that works for everyone. The following presents a powerful means to that end.
It was around mid-2005, I came to the realization I was not going to create wealth or financial freedom with a JOB; a good income, perhaps, a great income, rarely, but not wealth. In fact,…

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness, concerning all acts of initiative (and creation); there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner or unforeseen incidents, meetings, and material…

I wrote the following in response to a gentleman who e-mailed me earlier today.
Dear______
Thank you very much for your response to my note.
I am being careful replying back in the interest of not being "Right" about what I have to say. I… Continue

A battle lost or won is easily described, understood, and appreciated, but the moral growth of a great nation requires reflection, as well as observation, to appreciate it. (Frederick Douglas)
Simply, the most extraordinary, consequential and timely treatise I have ever read, and an essential quality in the
Creating A World Community conversation as I view it. See…

I learned of
Friendship Day, today. I do not recall ever hearing about it until I saw people
twittering about this afternoon. It is the most frequent trending topic as I write this post.
My quick research informs me that
Friendship Day may in fact be
International Friendship Day which takes place the first Sunday of August every year. I understand the United States Congress proclaimed it in 1935. My best source of information at this time is…

President Obama promptly and enthusiastically greeted his close friend Skip Gates and Sgt. Crowley at The White House with a big smile and firm handshake, Thursday evening. He thanked each for coming.
Professor Gates appeared a little uncomfortable. The President and Crowley seemed quite relaxed, their cheeks a little flushed. The President had just finished drinking a couple of beers with one of his aids and Crowley had a couple just before his arrival at the bar in the…

Earlier today, I responded to two questions.
One question was what are some of the things I am doing and will be doing to create a
World Community and secondly what can each of us do.
What I am doing and will continue to do is advancing the
Creating A World Community vision as I have defined it. That is a world that works for each and every person. I will…

We're blessed where I live in that we have two "great" public radio stations. On the way home from dinner tonight, I had a "drive way moment" while listening to WHRV 89.5 that I'd love to share.
One of the local announcer's names is Jae Sinnett. He has about 9 recorded albums under his name and is a jazz drummer. However, he hosts two shows on 89.5:
Sinnett in Session (Jazz) and on Fridays from 7-8pm, the
R&B Chronicles. It was tonight's R&BC that got me as it…

I have posted the following from one of my favorite sites: beliefnet.com
The sight logo is "Nurturing Mind, Body and Spirit" and represents all aspects of faith and spirituality. You can sign up to receive the "Daily OM" free.
This is the "Daily OM" that I received on May 18, 2009. It seemed to fit into the theme of "Creating a World Community. Hope it resonates and inspires. Peace be with you.

My mother, Gladys Carter, passed away late last month.
Her life was celebrated in memoriam the Fourth of July weekend. I realize the Fourth was one of her most cherished holidays; another was Memorial Day. My mother was a very proud
World War II Veteran you see, and in that regard, she frequently wore a banner that read,
"Nothing More To Prove" although she demanded her story and the stories of the other Black Women who were the first and only "African…

"Man In The Mirror"

I'm Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It's Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .
As I, Turn Up The Collar On My
Favourite Winter Coat
This Wind Is Blowin' My Mind
I See The Kids In The Street,
With Not Enough To Eat
Who Am I, To Be Blind?
Pretending Not To See
Their Needs
A Summer's Disregard,
A Broken…

Face In The Mirror
LATELY, WE HAVE seen a flood of hate crimes. A white supremacist walks into the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and guns down a guard. An anti-abortion fanatic murders a doctor who provided women with unwanted and sometimes life-threatening pregnancies.
The list goes on, including violence against young women and others who dare to speak their minds in Iran. Hate and intolerance seem to spew forth from every corner, and there…

Recently, while visiting Capitol Hill, I was asked by
United States Congressman Bobby Scott what my idea was in regard to health care reform in this country. I stumbled over the question, realizing how enormously the system is broken and the complexity of the issues involved in addressing the difficulties people have with access, costs and quality. In my attempt to refocus on the Congressman’s question, I was able to edge in a word or two about how I felt the only way for the…
